🏆 Lore Competitions: Building the World Together

Lore Competitions are how we build out the world and add new content for everyone to enjoy. Each round invites the community to write a new piece of the world — a story, a character, a corner of the map — and the strongest entries are welcomed in, rewarded, and woven into the canon. It's the front door for new writers and the engine that keeps the world growing. ⏳ The Countdown

Every competition is announced with a competition banner on the home page that counts down to the round. The banner shows the theme, the prize, and a live timer.

The clock matters: it marks the line between the two phases of a round. Before the timer hits zero, the synopsis window is open — this is your chance to pitch what you intend to write. When the countdown reaches zero, the synopsis window closes and accepted writers move on to compose their full entries. 1️⃣ Step 1 — Pitch Your Synopsis 📝

While the countdown is running, anyone signed in can submit a synopsis of what they'd like to write — a short pitch describing the piece you have in mind. You can save drafts as you go and pick up later at your own pace; nothing is final until you submit.

Once submitted, the synopsis goes to the loremasters, who either give it a thumbs-up or send you a quick note with feedback. If it isn't accepted, you can revise and resubmit while the window is still open. 2️⃣ Step 2 — Compose Your Entry ✍️

If your synopsis is accepted, you'll be invited to use the Composer to submit your full entry. The Composer is where the piece comes to life — chapters and sections, text, images, audio, and the metadata that will travel with it on-chain. When you submit the finished piece, the community gives it a final review before it joins the competition pool for the round. 3️⃣ Step 3 — Win 🏅

When the round closes, the strongest entries win. Winners receive: Rewards for the round, distributed to your wallet. Permanent membership in the lore.digital network — a standing place among the people who decide what becomes canon, vote on direction, and shape the world going forward. Future consideration for equity, should we get there.

Winning isn't just a prize — it's an invitation to keep building. The whole point is a tight-knit community and the pride of ownership that comes with knowing you built that. 👛 A Base Wallet Is Required

Because rewards are distributed on-chain, Lore Competitions require a Base wallet. It's the same wallet you sign in with, and it's where any rewards for a winning entry are sent. If you don't have one set up yet, refer to the wallet section (LINK) before the round closes so there's no delay when it's time to distribute rewards. No wallet, no payout. Make sure your Base wallet is connected and ready before results are announced — rewards are sent to the wallet on your account.
